Introducing Folders (Beta) and a New Feedback Report

This release introduces Folders—a new beta feature to help you organize your profiles—and a new Educator vs Employer Feedback Report to highlight alignment (or gaps) in skill ratings across reviewer types. We’ve also made updates to the Insights tab, improved the Convert flow for resumes, and completed a round of backend enhancements and bug fixes to improve overall platform performance.

Folders on the Profiles Page (Beta):

We’ve started rolling out the first version of Folders to help organize profiles more effectively.

⚠️ Please note: This feature is currently in beta and is limited to Admin users only. Non-Admin users can see the folders in the list but cannot currently open them.

  • Create folders using the “+ New” button on the profiles page and then move any existing profiles into those folders.
  • Profiles can be moved between folders or back out into the full profiles list from the profiles page or from within a folder.
  • Rename a folder using the three dot dropdown menu from within the folder.
  • Current Limitations:
    • Folders can be created to group profiles but cannot be nested.
    • Folders must be empty to be deleted and can only be deleted from within the folder.
    • Profiles with active feedback sessions cannot be moved into folders.
    • Folders cannot be shared.

We’re excited to gather feedback on this early version as we expand folder functionality in future updates.

Educator vs Employer Feedback Report:

We’ve added a new report to help you quickly compare educator feedback with input from employers and industry professionals.

  • The report shows average skill ratings from both educator and employer reviewers.
  • It also contains a discrepancy score to see where ratings diverge:
    • A positive score means educators rated the skill more highly.
    • A negative score means employers rated the skill more highly.
  • Each skill is flagged as High, Medium, Low, or No Discrepancy based on the size of the gap.
  • Skipped skills are flagged as N/A across the full report.

Insights Tab Updates:

We’ve made a few improvements to how and when you access insights:

  • The Insights tab is now the default view when opening a profile from most places in the app.
  • Top Skill Set summaries now generate automatically when a profile is created, so you can get quick insights right away.

Bug Fixes & Backend Improvements:

  • Created a new internal class of profiles for use in APIs and system flows.
  • Improved the Convert flow for resumes to deliver more accurate results.
  • Fixed bugs related to feedback sessions and organization invite links.
  • Made minor UI updates to improve consistency and polish across the app.
